Prescription Tillage Technology LLC (PTT) was founded in 2013 with the core principle of being a company of Integrity. Integrity: a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes.

 

While a young company, PTT’s owners have been actively involved in agricultural production all their lives. Those that grow up farming understand and see on a daily basis that there are always problems to be solved around the farm. It takes innovation, determination and hard work to solve those problems.

The STI Blade came from necessity. 

 

After more than 5 years of design and experimentation the end result was the STI Blade. The project was started with the intent to only use the design within Richard’s own operation. However, it was apparent that the innovation was so profound that all of agriculture could benefit from this technology. Therefore, PTT was formed to take this product to market. The STI Blade is just the first in a line of products that PTT will be producing based on science and agronomic principles. We will change the way you think about ground engaged agricultural tools.

Prescription Tillage Technology LLC is proud to announce that we have moved. April of 2023, we left our 10,000 square foot facility to our new location, a 75,000 square foot facility in Lamoni IA. PTT is dedicated to our farmer’s, dealer’s and distributer’s that have supported us throughout the years. To better serve all of you we have expanded with new lines and new updated parts for better delivery times, quality control and performance in the field.

As of August 6, 2022, Prescription Tillage Technology LLC is under new management. Ryan Christie, one of the founders of the company assumed the position of CEO with a mindset to move the company forward in a positive direction so we can better serve our customer base.

 

New for 2023:

-Our one-of-a-kind Billet 1045 steel hub assembly for ultimate strength / heat dissipation / quality.

-All new Double roller taper bearing. This new patented bearing was designed in house by PTT and will change the seeder world. In house and 3rd party testing confirmed that our new series bearing outlast the 204 double roller (industry HD standard) by a minimum of 9 times. This will allow farmers to no longer worry about bearings issues knowing that there American made openers will hold true to the statement built in the USA.
